VBS 2014

We are having so much fun at VBS this week. Unfortunately our lemonade stand was a bust because the leagues were all playing on the back 9 this week. So we had a few sales but not the numbers we were hoping for this time. All week we have been up early, jamming to the Rise and Sing cd in the car, and really enjoying the entire vbs experience. 

Wednesday, Violet joined our group and I am so glad she did! 

Jump ropes are great for keeping 4-5 yr olds from running away. Of course there are the downsides to the jump rope.. Who gets to be the leader, who gets to be the caboose, a fast leader who pulls, a slow leader who the back 4 keep running into... There are more but at least it keeps them contained.  

I love hearing Violet singing.. "Ohh ohh ohh wayyo... I want to be like Jesus!"  I love hearing Loralei giggle at the skits on stage at the beginning and end. We have listened to the cd so much this week I have these songs stuck in my head. It has been a great first VBS!
